Akademika publishes three issues a year; April, July and October. It is a refereed journal published by UKM Press that is committed to the advancement of scholarly knowledge by encouraging discussion of several branches of the social sciences and humanities in Southeast Asia region. The journal publishes research and conceptual articles whose content and approach are of interest to a wide range of scholars. Articles submitted for consideration of publication in this journal should clearly show the implications to the community, society and humanities.
