Abstract

As a guest editor, it is a great honor for me to speak to the readers of this prestigious journal, Akademika: Southeast Asia Social Sciences and Humanities. The complex interrelationship between society and the law has always been dynamic, influenced by changes in societal values, historical developments, and technological breakthroughs. The moral, political, and economic frameworks that direct our interactions are reflected in law, which is more than just a collection of rules and regulations.
