Abstract

Abstract: The rapid development of the digital era has triggered significant emotional challenges, including stress, technology addiction, and mental imbalance, which negatively impact individual well-being. However, studies exploring the role of Islamic spirituality in addressing these challenges remain limited, particularly in the context of emotional management in the digital age. Therefore, this study aims to identify the gaps in existing approaches and examine the key contributions of Islamic spirituality in helping individuals manage emotions effectively in the digital era. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing content analysis of Islamic spiritual texts, including the Quran, Hadith, and classical scholarly works. Additionally, this study integrates sociological and psychological literature related to digital challenges to provide a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. The findings indicate that Islamic spiritual principles such as tawakkul (trust in God), sabr (patience), shukr (gratitude), and zikrullah (remembrance of God) serve as strategic mechanisms for reducing emotional stress, overcoming technology addiction, and enhancing mental well-being in the digital age. These findings contribute to the academic discourse on emotion management from an Islamic perspective while also offering practical implications for education, psychological interventions, and digital society development. This study recommends further cross-cultural empirical research to evaluate the effectiveness of this approach in various global contexts.
