Kompetensi Keusahawanan Personal Pelajar TVET MARA Bagi Subjek Keusahawanan Digital (Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies of MARA TVET Students for the Digital Entrepreneurship Subject)
Abstract
Keusahawanan Digital (KD) merupakan subjek yang diajar dan diberikan penekanan bagi institusi pendidikan TVET MARA. Berdasarkan kepada kajian yang lepas, terdapat kekurangan dalam mengukur kompetensi keusahawanan personal (KKP) dalam aspek pembelajaran bagi subjek keusahawanan digital. Oleh itu, objektif kajian ini adalah melihat keberkesanan subjek keusahawanan digital ke atas pelajar TVET MARA. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif melibatkan penggunaaan soal selidik sebagai instrumen dalam mengukur kajian yang dijalankan. Soal selidik yang dibangunkan merangkumi 70 soalan yang melibatkan 13 kompetensi keusahawanan personal (KKP). Prosedur pensampelan melibatkan pelajar TVET MARA seluruh Malaysia yang mengambil subjek keusahawanan digital. Namun begitu, hanya 117 orang pelajar sahaja yang menjawab soal selidik yang diberikan dalam tempoh yang ditetapkan. Dalam membuat analisis kompetensi keusahawanan personal, format analisis menggunakan perisian Microsoft Excel yang digunakan dalam membuat analisis kompetensi keusahawanan personal (KKP) secara keseluruhan. Hasil dapat kajian mendapati secara keseluruhan pelajar TVET MARA mempunyai kompetensi keusahawanan personal (KKP) yang lemah dan ini menunjukkan aktiviti pengajaran dan pembelajaran bagi subjek keusahawanan digital tidak mampu menarik minat pelajar dalam bidang keusahawanan. Implikasi penemuan ini adalah antara cadangan yang boleh dibuat adalah berkolabrasi dengan pihak usahawan melalui konsep dropship atau affiliate, penambahbaikan modul pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interatif dan pendedahan dengan ekspo atau aktiviti perniagaan di luar institusi. Kaedah ini dapat membantu pelajar dalam meningkatkan kompetensi keusahawan personal (KKP) bagi subjek keusahawanan digital.

Abstract: Digital Entrepreneurship (DE) is a subject taught and emphasized in MARA TVET educational institutions. Based on previous studies, there is a lack of measurement of personal entrepreneurial competencies (PEC) in the learning aspects of the digital entrepreneurship subject.Therefore, the objective of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the digital entrepreneurship subject on MARA TVET students.This study uses a quantitative method involving the use of a questionnaire as an instrument in measuring the conducted research.The developed questionnaire includes 70 questions involving 13 personal entrepreneurship competencies (PEC).The sampling procedure involved TVET MARA student across Malaysia that took the digital entrepreneurship subject. However,only 117 students responded to the questionnaire provided within the specified period.In conducting the analysis of personal entrepreneurial competencies, the analysis format using Microsoft Excel software was used to analyze personal entrepreneurial competencies (PEC) as a whole.The results of the study found that overall, TVET MARA students have weak personal entrepreneurship competencies (PEC), indicating that the teaching and learning activities for the digital entrepreneurship subject are unable to attract students' interest in the field of entrepreneurship.The implications of these findings suggest that among the recommendations that can be made are collaborating with entrepreneurs through the dropship or affiliate concept, improving learning modules to be more engaging and interactive, and exposure to expos or business activities outside the institution.This method can help students improve their personal entrepreneurial competence (KKP) for the subject of digital entrepreneurship.
