Special Section Theme (Applied Linguistics in Practice: Insights Across Personal and Public Domains)

Abstract

This Special Section comprises six papers which exhibit how linguistics can help us understand and offer solutions to real-life problems. Bringing into perspective everyday language usage in both personal and public domains, the articles identify language related causes and put forth solutions to real-life concerns such as in the field of language education, literary studies, professional communication, political communication, and discourse analysis.
