Abstract

Cases involving sexual offences are on the increase in our society. Besides rape, one of the common categories of sexual offences is sodomy ie. a carnal intercourse against the order of nature. Since sodomy becomes an important social and legal issue, this article is to highlight the provisions of sodomy as provided in the Malaysian Penal Code. Issues pertaining to sodomy, including it’s definition, elements and punishment shall be dealt with in this article.
