Respon penduduk terhadap penganjuran acara : Analisis pelancongan acara melalui media sosial Perbadanan Putrajaya (Residents Reponses for the Organization Event : Analysis Through Event Tourism with Social Media Perbadanan Putrajaya)

Abstract

Pelancongan acara menjadi sub pelancongan yang popular masa kini dan memberi pulangan modal yang besar dalam meningkatkan ekonomi sesebuah destinasi. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menilai respon penduduk setempat terhadap penganjuran acara di Pusat Pentadbiran Putrajaya. Satu analisis kandungan terhadap respon penduduk selepas penganjuran acara di dalam laman sosial (Facebook) Perbadanan Putrajaya telah diilakukan. Hasil kajian mendapati penduduk setempat memberikan respon yang negatif terhadap acara-acara yang di anjurkan di Putrajaya, Hanya segelintir sahaja daripada mereka yang memberikan respon positif. Justeru, pihak Perbadanan Putrajaya perlu  meningkatkan promosi pelancongan acara yang dapat menarik minat dan penyertaan para penduduk pada masa akan datang.

Tourism event became a popular tourist sub contemporary and huge capital returns in improving the economy of a destination. This study aimed to evaluate the response of the local residents towards tourism event in Putrajaya Administrative Centre. A content analysis of resident reponses after hosting the event in a social networking site (Facebook) Perbadanan Putrajaya has been done. The findings revealed that the local residents give a negative reponses of the events organized in Putrajaya, only a small number of those who gave a positive perception. Thus, the Perbadanan Putrajaya should increase tourism promotion event that can attract the local resident participationand awareness in the future.
