Hospitaliti dalam pembangunan pelancongan di Indonesia: Perspektif psikologi positif (Hospitality in tourism development in Indonesia: A positive pschology perspective)
Abstract
Dalam bidang pelancongan hospitaliti juga menjadi salah satu komponen penting yang perlu ada pada mana-mana sektor atau perkhidmatan. Industri hospitaliti di Indonesia menawarkan keramahtamahan masyarakat Indonesia sebagai tarikan. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana psikologi positif dapat menyumbang kepada sektor hospitaliti dan pelancongan di Indonesia. Berdasarkan dua kes kajian di PT. Aerowisata dan homestay yang ada di Jawa Barat, kajian mendapati kerangka makro telah diaplikasikan dalam menawarkan hospitaliti. Pendekatan psikologi positif pula diaplikasikan di peringkat mikro yang memberikan sikap yang positif dalam menghasilkan layanan hospitaliti yang positif. Hasil kajian ini memberikan dimensi psikologi positif berupaya menyumbang kepada hospitaliti orang Indonesia dan suku kaum tertentu sepertia Urang Sunda. Adalah dicadangkan pengkajian ke atas penglibatan suku Urang Sunda diperincikan dalam dimensi psikologi positif kerana banyak cirian dan amalan yang berupaya membentuk pengalaman hospitaliti dalam pelancongan di Indonesia.

In the field of tourism, hospitality has now become one of the key components that should be included in any of the sectors or services. In Indonesia, hospitality industry has a wide range of Indonesian culture as an attraction. This paper aims to analyze how positive psychology can contribute to the hospitality and tourism sector in Indonesia. Based on two case studies in PT. Aerowisata and homestay in West Java, the study found that the macro framework has been applied in offering hospitality. Positive psychology approach is applied at the micro level which gives a positive attitude in producing positive hospitality. The results of this study provide positive psychological dimension to contribute to the Indonesian hospitality and certain tribes such as Urang Sunda. It is proposed an assessment on participation of Urang Sunda in enhancing their positive psychological dimension because many of these characteristics and practices are capable of providing hospitality experiences in tourism in Indonesia.
