Analisis Kadar Pulangan Pendidikan di Malaysia
Abstract
Kertas kerja ini menganalisis dan membandingkan kadar pulangan pendidikan mengikut peringkat pencapaian pendidikan sekolah rendah, menengah dan tertiary, serta mengikut beberapa kursus terpilih peringkat ijazah di Institusi Pengajian Awam Tempatan (IPTA). Tujuan analisis ini dibuat adalah untuk meninjau sejauh mana pelaburan dalam sektor pendidikan mampu meningkatkan ‘modal manusia’, berdasarkan pulangan sosial dan persendirian yang diterima. Kajian ini mengguna pakai 2 kaedah pengiraan utama, iaitu kaedah Terperinci dan kaedah Purata. Pengiraan kos pembiayaan pendidikan juga diperjelaskan untuk mendapat pemahaman menyeluruh berkaitan aspek terbabit. Keputusan kajian ini juga penting bagi meningkatkan kefahaman kita mengenai kepentingan pelaburan dalam sektor pendidikan dan ia mampu mengupas situasi kadar pulangan pendidikan di Malaysia yang ditinjau dari pelbagai persepsi dan pada masa yang sama beberapa interpretasi dan cadangan berguna dapat diutarakan di akhir kajian bagi meningkatkan lagi tingkat kadar pulangan pendidikan pada masa akan datang.Downloads
