Key Words: Penggunaan TMK, sekolah bandar, sekolah luar bandar, Program Frog VLE Government had drawn up various strategies and invested a big sum of money in enculturing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) usage among urban and rural schools. However, previous studies had shown that ICT usage among teachers were moderate and focused less on school’s locations. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify whether there is a significant difference in the aspect of knowledge, skills and attitude among teachers in using ICT based on the location of schools. This study is a cross-sectional survey and used questionnaires as the main instrument. Respondents consist of 1440 teachers from urban and rural national secondary schools (SMK). Inferential statistical analysis (MANOVA) was used to analyse the data collected. The findings of this study show that there is a significant difference in knowledge and skills of teachers in using ICT based on the locations of school. On the other hand, there is no significant difference in the attitude of teachers in using ICT among urban and rural SMK. The findings of this study can be used to assist the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) in improving teacher’s knowledge and skills in using ICT at school level.
